The UMGF (University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships) awards is valued at $18,000 for PHD and $14,000 for Master’s program for a period of 1 year. 3.  Ontario Graduate Scholarship
The OGS program (Ontario Graduate Scholarship) is a program by the provincial government of Ontario and it is fully funded by them. This funding program is aimed at promoting excellence in both the Master’s Program and the PhD program. The OGS program is valued at $15,000 in one year and the scholarship can only be held for a period of 2 consecutive terms.

4.  University of Calgary Graduate Awards
The University of Calgary Graduate Scholarship Office has many awards that they give to foreign or international students. The values for the awards range from $1,000 to $40,000 and covers various study programs.

5.  Trudeau Foundation Scholarships
Funded by the Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarships, this award is directed  solely towards students in the Social Sciences  and Humanities fields. Up to 15 awards of this scholarship are awarded to students every year both to Canadians and international students.
  • Eligible students must be enrolled full-time and can be either in their first or second years at school or be enrolling for their Doctoral Program in the Humanities and Social Sciences. 6.  Dalhousie University Scholarship
Whether you are about to enroll for Bsc, Msc or PhD, so far you are studying at the Dalhousie University in Halifax (or about to study), you can apply for this scholarship. 7.  Queen’s University International Scholarships
For students (both current and prospective students) at the Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, scholarship awards are available. Some of the awards given at this university are for foreign students from certain countries like the USA, Pakistan and India.
