1. Meng Fei Innovative Future Leader Scholarship

Applications were open for the 2020/2021 session on 15th of August, 2019 and the applications will close by 15th of July, 2020.

 

This means that you need to speed things up and ensure that you submit your application before the 15th day in July, 2020 for the 2020/2021 academic session. Submitting your application after the stipulated period renders your submission invalid. This scholarship program is open to both undergraduates and postgraduates. The scholarship is totally merit based and you have to meet the criteria.

 

What does the Meng Fei Scholarship cover for the student?

 

The scholarship covers up to 25% of the student’s tuition fees for the first year. The scholarship for a student is up to AUD$10,000. Also, if the student will take up or enroll in the Curtin English Language program, then the scholarship will cover the student for 10 weeks of free English. After 10 weeks of free English, then fees will start to apply.

 

The scholarship is in honour of Meng Fei who is internationally recognised for his works in the entertainment industry particularly media and journalism. Anyone from the faculties of Business and Law, Health Sciences, Humanities as well as Science and Engineering can apply for this scholarship program. Also, recipients of this scholarship program must be international students.

 

The program is not available to Australian citizens at all. And eligible applicants must;
  • Be foreign, full tuition paying and non-sponsored students,
  • Must be starting their studies at the Western Australia campuses of Curtin University in 2020
  • Must be starting their full undergraduate program or Master’s program at Curtin University

2. Australian Year 12 Scholarship

Applications for this program are accepted at anytime and it has been open since 16th of July, 2020. The aim of this scholarship is to help all foreign students all around the world who have successfully completed their Australian high school certification whether in Australia or outside Australia. This scholarship will go on to assist these students to be able to effectively pursue an undergraduate degree in Curtin University.

 

Also, additionally, students that enrol for a Curtin English Language Program before the commencement of their studies, will receive a 10 week free English program. If the student is taking more than 10 weeks of the English program, then tuition may apply to it. Students in the faculty of Business and Law, Health Sciences, Humanities as well as Science and Engineering are eligible to apply for the Australian Year 12 Scholarship Program.

3. Merit Scholarship

The CRL (Credit for Recognized Learning) merit scholarship is another scholarship opportunity for future foreign students applying to the University of Curtin. All foreign students are encouraged to apply for this scholarship program except Australian students. Eligible applicants also get 10 weeks of free English program at the University. Students eligible must fit into the following faculties;
  • Centre for Aboriginal studies
  • Business and Law
  • Health Sciences
  • Humanities
  • Science and Engineering
Both undergraduate future students and postgraduate students are eligible to apply.  And the scholarship covers up to 10% of the students’ first year tuition fees up to AUD$4,000 in worth. 4. The Alumni and Family Scholarship

 

This is another type of scholarship award you can benefit from at University of Curtin. Successful applicants for the Alumni and Family Scholarship will get up to 25% of their tuition fees covered for the first year of their program at University of Curtin. Eligible applicants for this scholarship must have family or personal linkage to the University of Curtin.
